Industrial Security Specialist Jobs in Saint Charles, MO at Patriot Machine Inc
Provides administrative support to the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in meeting the security requirements for a cleared Department of Defense contractor.
Responsibilities:
Performs duties as Industrial Security Specialist for both Collateral and Special Access Programs (SAP).
Operates access control/badging equipment, software, and maintains records.
Performs classified document control functions and input data into Security Information Management System.
Performs record-keeping requirements for verification of clearances, visitor authorization, and authorized areas of access.
Processes incoming and outgoing classified visit requests as required. Performs classified document control functions and inputs data into Security Information Management System.
Assists in developing a security education program and conducting security awareness training to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property, and information.
Reviews and interprets Government issued DD 254’s to provide security direction to the company regarding classified contracts.
Interfaces with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) representatives and other high-level leadership.
Requirements:
Associates degree or higher education preferred.
A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience preferred
Able to interface well with all departments of the company and to represent the company in a highly professional manner
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and strong written communication skills preferred.
Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects
Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality, handling company private, sensitive and personal information in a professional and discrete manner.
An understanding of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) preferred.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
