The Boeing Company is looking for an Industrial Security Specialist (Experienced or Senior) to join our team in Kent, WA.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Security Specialist with a strong background in the development, construction, and accreditation of Special Access Program Facilities (SAPFs) and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs). This role is crucial for ensuring our facilities meet all required security standards and regulations, thereby safeguarding sensitive and classified information critical to national security. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the relevant security regulations and standards, including Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) 5205.07, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and Joint Air Force-Army-Navy (JAFAN) Manuals.

Position Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all SAPF and SCIF projects comply with ICD 705, DoDM 5205.07, NISPOM, JAFAN Manuals, and other applicable security regulations and standards.
Stay updated on changes and updates to relevant security regulations and standards, implementing necessary adjustments to security plans and facility designs.
Facility Design and Construction:
Lead the planning, design, and construction phases of SAPF and SCIF projects, ensuring security requirements are integrated from the outset.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
Accreditation and Certification:
Manage the accreditation process for SAPFs and SCIFs, preparing necessary documentation and liaising with accrediting agencies to ensure facilities meet all security requirements.
Oversee the implementation of physical security measures, including access controls, intrusion detection systems, and surveillance technologies.
Training and Awareness:
Develop and deliver security training programs for staff, emphasizing the importance of compliance with security protocols and procedures.
Promote a culture of security awareness and vigilance within the organization.
Security Audits and Inspections:
Conduct regular security audits and inspections of SAPFs and SCIFs to ensure ongoing compliance with security standards and regulations.
Identify and address any deficiencies or gaps in security measures.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Engineering, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in physical security, specifically with a focus on SAPF and SCIF construction and accreditation.
Comprehensive knowledge of ICD 705, DoDM 5205.07, NISPOM, JAFAN Manuals, and applicable security regulations and standards.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in the successful completion of security projects.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Senior (Level 4): 5+ years of relevant experience

Typical Education/Experience:

Experienced (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years’ related work experience, 10 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Senior (Level 4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years’ related work experience, 14 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Summary pay range:

Experienced (Level 3): $83,300 to 112,700

Senior (Level 4): $103,700 to 140,300
