Job Description

We are hiring an Industrial Security Specialist responsible for administering electronic security clearance questionnaires (SF86), conducting access indoctrinations and debriefings, and delivering security clearance training. Responsibilities include managing Personnel Security procedures such as database management, file review, electronic form submission, and coordinating security briefings. The role requires an active SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one, and a reliable internet connection for remote work.

Pay Rate: $25 per hour.

This is a Remote Position.

Responsibilities:

Organize and maintain employee information for clearance processing using DISS, NBIS, and eApp.

Assist security clearance applicants through the SF86 application process.

Review DD254 packages and coordinate security clearance processing.

Educate personnel on CFR Title 32 Part 117, NISPOM.

Ensure adherence to policies and regulations.

Troubleshoot issues and address inquiries from investigators and personnel.

Manage electronic case files for investigations and vetting.

Provide assistance during security applications.

Conduct briefings and gather reporting information.

Utilize multiple security databases.

Oversee client account portfolios and facilitate visits and access.

Communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must possess or be able to obtain an active SECRET clearance.

Must be a U.S. citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in industrial security for government or commercial entities.

Knowledge of security documents and NISP terminology.
