Job Summary:The analyst role is responsible for assessing and troubleshooting incoming tickets with a strong focus on ensuring a timely assessment on incoming work, escalation to the wider team and completion of entry level client work.
Responsibilities
Assist with potential/existing client relationships to help progress the RFI process
Assist with the administration of internal and external audits
Lead on the vetting of new and existing vendors
Assist in the administration and ongoing maintenance of the
Information Security Risk Register
Lead in the response to urgent client security questionnaires
Assist the team with the administration of internal Vulnerability
Assessments and Penetration Tests
Help manage the administration of key security tasks within the team
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of physical security
Prepare key metric reports for the Security and Compliance Team
Lead in the review and ongoing maintenance of security operating procedures.
Required Qualifications & Competencies
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years’ experience
Knowledge of security management principles.
Ability to communicate, both internally and externally
Strong problem-solving skills
Good standard of both written and verbal communication
Ability to manage and prioritise workload
Must be a self-starter, who can both work independently and as part of a team
Desire to progress and develop within the role
Ability to take ownership of tasks from start to finish
Keen attention to detail
Desired Qualifications & Competencies
2 to 3 years’ experience
CompTIA, SSCP, Security+, ISACA Cybersecurity Fundamentals.
