Job Responsibilities
Assess, monitor, analyse, and mitigate risks on new & existing IT solutions
Research, design, test, and implement new security controls
Identify vulnerabilities and investigate security incidents to determine root causes
Contribute to the automation and improvement of security processes and technologies
Acting as a subject matter expert, provide consultations and advice to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Maintain IT security and risk management procedures, policies, and frameworks
Experience Required
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
Experience across security incidents, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, etc
Up-to-date knowledge of security threats / vulnerabilities and how to deal with them
Proven track record of adapting to a rapidly transforming organisation
Essential and Desirable Skills
Key security concepts
IT risk management standards and disciplines
Security control frameworks: NIST, COBIT, ISO
Security requirements for cloud environments (AWS / Azure) would be ideal
Educational Requirements
Third level degree in Computer Science, or a related field
Relevant certifications would be ideal: Security+, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSK, CCSP, SANS
