Minimum qualifications:

analysis techniques. About the job
There’s no such thing as a “safe system” – only safer systems. Our Security team works to create and maintain the safest operating environment for Google’s users and developers. As a Security Engineer, you help protect network boundaries, keep computer systems and network devices hardened against attacks and provide security services to protect highly sensitive data like passwords and customer information.
Security Engineers work directly with network equipment and actively monitor our systems for attacks and intrusions. You also work with software engineers to proactively identify and fix security flaws and vulnerabilities.
You use your industry experience to own and drive the resolution of complex security incidents, policy questions and technical security issues. You Tube owns one of the most popular mobile apps in the world, with billions of users, and has an equally large amount of responsibility to our users. One of those responsibilities is making sure to keep our users safe, and so we have formed a new mobile Security Team for You Tube native apps, tasked with making sure we have the highest levels of security built into our apps.
This team works closely with Google Information Security Engineering, using the federated security team model. You Tube will be hiring security experts who will work on mobile security and advise on potential and active security issues. The scope are all 14 Android and iOS apps including You Tube Main, Creator Studio, Kids, YTTV, Producer, and our Embeds SDK.The US base
salary range
for this full-time position is $189,000-$284,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
