We are seeking a highly skilled and experiencedInformation Security Operations Associate Directorto oversee our organization’s security operations. The Security Operations Associate Director will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing security strategies, tools, policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the protection of the organization’s assets, employees, customers, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of our operations by implementing effective security strategies and programs.
This position will require strongleadershipskills,attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders. With the added responsibility of leading large scale project efforts regarding the deployment of security tool and capabilities. These projects include managing both internal and external security service.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage security strategies, policies, procedures, and standards to protect the organization’s assets, employees, customers, and stakeholders
Assess and mitigate security risks by identifying, analyzing, and evaluating threats and vulnerabilities, and develop appropriate risk mitigation plans
Monitor and assess compliance with security policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements
Conduct security audits, assessments, and evaluations to identify and assess risks and vulnerabilities, and recommend remedial actions
Coordinate and collaborate with other departments, business units, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of security strategies and objectives with organizational goals
A key participant in managing security incidents, investigations, and responses, including coordination with law enforcement, legal, and other stakeholders
Manage a constant drive to increase the overall security posture and maturity
Develop and manage security budgets, resources, and staffing plans, includingtraining and developmentprograms for security staff
Stay up to date with security technologies, trends, and best practices, and implement them where appropriate
Manage both internal and external security service providers
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree
At least 12 years of information technology security experience
At least 6 years of management experience
OR
At least 14 years of information technology security experience
At least 6 years of management experience
Additional Requirements:
Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
