Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires a strong background in law enforcement or military experience, as well as proficiency in surveillance techniques and conflict management. The Armed Security Officer will play a critical role in deterring criminal activity and responding to incidents as they arise.
Responsibilities
Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of personnel and property.
Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to identify potential security breaches.
Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or incidents, taking appropriate action as necessary.
Conduct thorough inspections of premises and report any suspicious activities or security concerns.
Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance when needed, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during emergencies or investigations.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance skills in loss prevention, conflict management, and surveillance techniques.
Requirements
Proven experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred.
Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is essential.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
Must possess a valid armed security officer license/certificate as required by state regulations.
Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
