Makse Group is looking for a dedicated detailed-oriented Information Technology and Security Analyst to support IT infrastructure changes and strengthen the organization’s overall security posture. In this role, you will work closely with IT to implement and review system changes while ensuring compliance with security policies and safeguarding critical data against cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, assess, and support IT system changes to ensure alignment with security standards and policies to ensure data confidentiality.
Collaborate with IT teams to implement secure configurations for systems, applications, and networks that safeguard sensitive information across all business operations.
Monitor security systems for threats and assist in responding to security incidents, including investigation, containment, and reporting.
Ensure secure authentication methods are maintained and used appropriately.
Assist with compliance programs and ensure alignment with regulatory and industry standards, including managing annual audits such as SOC 2 Type 2.
Support the development, implementation, and enforcement of security policies and procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security risks and resolve vulnerabilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience in information security, network monitoring, and compliance management or related roles.
Knowledge of IT change management processes and security principles.
Experience with Microsoft Intune.
Experience with PowerShell to build out scripts
Endpoint management experience.
Familiarity with SOC 2 Type 2 and other audit frameworks.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Familiarity with basic security tools such as firewalls, vulnerability scanners, and antivirus software.
Understanding of networking, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and common security threats.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Intune or other UEM/RMM
Familiarity with VDI configuration, specifically Citrix or Amazon Workspaces
Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel or similar solution
Familiarity with data retention and privacy regulations
