Job Description
Allied Universal is looking to hire a Police Officer. The Allied Universal Company Police Force is an intelligent choice for private police contracting. Allied Universal Special Police offer multiple contracts across the state withjob securityand the ability to experience different aspects of policing. As a Sworn Police Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in the county facilities as a Police Officer located in and around the area of Raleigh, NC.
Responsibilities:
Provide police services to our clients by carrying out safety and police procedures, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm,problem-solvingmanner.
Conduct regular and random patrols in and around the schools and perimeter.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent.
Must possess or can obtain a state driver’s license, as well as be a US citizen for the state which you are applying.
Possess effective written and oralcommunicationand interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public in a professional and effective manner.
Must be certified (sworn) as a police officer, have a BLET Certificate, or a state Law Enforcement Certification to be considered.
Out-of-state candidates must have completed a Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) course accredited by the state from which they are transferring and two years of full-time, sworn law enforcement experience. Most Out-of-state Applicants will have to go through an abbreviated BLET course within one year of being sworn.
A current or honorably-discharged former military police officer seeking certification as a law enforcement officer can seek employment if certain conditions are met.
As a condition of employment, the employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local law.
Must submit to a SBI polygraph if you are still in a probationary status.
You must have an honorable discharge from the military (if applicable).
Display exceptional customer service andcommunication skills.
Have intermediate computer skills to operateinnovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.
