We are looking to add a Security Officer to our hotel team. See below for details and to apply for the position. Essential Functions:
Respond to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies and threats to life and/or property
Exercise key control, process lost and found items
Ensure property is secure by locking required doors
Carry out minor maintenance tasks
Deliver overnight items to rooms
Remove items from corridors that may be a fire or safety hazard, promoting safe work practices to include life safety inspections
Conduct foot patrols of property and perimeter
Initiates preliminary investigations into incidents, as needed
Writes reports and ensures accuracy of necessary documentation, as needed
Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
Other reasonable duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED preferred but not required
Excellent listening, verbal and written communications
Previous experience preferred
Current CPR/AED/First Aid Certification preferred

Schedule: Overnight.
