To join our expanding team, Polaris seeks a qualified and capable Intelligence Analyst for full-time employment inBoston, MA. The role would support Client-directed status updates, report writing, access control and intelligence monitoring, critical incident and crisis management communications, and administrative tasks associated with office operations and business continuity.

This full-time position has an in-office work schedule. Polaris offers its employees opportunities for significant growth, bonus compensation, and acomprehensive benefits package. Salary will be commensurate with your experience and location, ranging from $50,000 to $70,000 annually.
YOUR ROLE
As a Polaris Intelligence Analyst, you would assist with vital access control and intelligence monitoring matters across several threat vectors and be dedicated to a client in the financial services industry. This support would include delivering research, report writing, and critical status updates to the client on various issues, from operational continuity to tracking internal threats or other reputational concerns. In this role, you would be responsible for the following tasks at your supervisor’s direction:
Access Control & Intelligence Monitoring– Tracking live or intermittent risks using internal tools, external services, and OSINT sources (i.e., International SOS, Life Raft Navigator, TX Global, developed public and law enforcement partnership resources, Lenel OnGuard, Milestone, Everbridge, etc.). Customized monitors might track & assess specific threats to the Client levied over social media or track evolving natural disasters, terrorist incidents, geopolitical tensions, and other applicable threat vectors about business continuity, internal threats, or reputational concerns.
Report Writing & Critical Status Updates Delivered to the Client– Compose articulate, accessible reports, compiling the Analyst’s key findings and pertinent results in a concise and easy-to-read package. Writers must leverage efficient, effective, and straightforward strategies to draft their conclusions and outline recommended next steps for the Client.
Deliverable Review— ‘Quality Control’ reviews involve proofreading, editing, re-formatting, or re-evaluating sourcing for client-facing deliverables within the Microsoft Office suite. Consistent, positivecollaborationamongst the team and openness to feedback is critical to improving the work product in the QC phase.
Other Administrative Tasks– Polaris seeks candidates who think creatively and strategically to execute time-efficient solutions for office and Client needs upon request. As applicable, Analysts may also be tasked with participating in or attendingprofessional developmentand training opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, though a master’s degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have at least one (1) year to two (2) years of directly applicable professional experience and an interest in and proven level of knowledge about geopolitical issues.
