Job Summary:
The Information Security Intern will develop skills and experience while supporting activities relating to security policies and processes, audits, and technical (i.e., SIEM, vulnerability scanning) controls.
Essential Job Functions:
Support activities related to internal phishing campaigns, security announcements, and security awareness training.
Leverage security tools such as SIEM and asset/vulnerability scanners to monitor and secure environment.
Assist with Incident Response to cyber security event.
Education/Experience/Skills
Basic Requirements:
Current enrollment in a fully accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree Cyber Security program
Preferred Requirements:
Basic understanding of Cyber Security concepts
Basic networking and PC support
Good documentation habits
Self-motivated, team player
Excellent oral and written skills
Minimum GPA of 3.0
