About the roleYou will be working as an IT Support Specialist in our Technology Division, which is now composed of 75+ people in Lagos, Bangalore, Paris, Türkiye, and remotely across the globe.
We are building Engineering centres of excellence across multiple regions and are looking for smart, talented, driven engineers. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the core engineering team of a fast-growing fintech poised for more rapid growth in the coming years.

Roles and Responsibilities

Design and deploy LANs, WANs, and wireless networks including servers, routers, firewalls, load balancers, switches, and other hardware

Configure, test, and maintain LAN/WAN equipment and related services

Identify, diagnose, and resolve network problems

Architect, create, manage and maintain Network, Server and PC health for clients

Manage and deploy system configurations

Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures with the security team

Proactive Network monitoring and maintaining all levels of network security internally and externally

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks

Troubleshoot and resolve voip/contact center connectivity issues, hardware, software errors and document resolutions

Provide documentation and technical specifications for planning and implementing new or upgraded IT infrastructure

Facilitate timely IT vendor and service provider payments and ensure expenditure compliance

Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures

Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts to resolve problems with limited disruptions

Manage access to unauthorized sites, downloads, and users on the network

Configure QoS for optimal user experience and bandwidth usage, and set up accounts and workstations in Windows and MacOS environments.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or similar.

3-5 years of experience as an IT support specialist.

Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries.

In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.

Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in IT support.
