Job Description:
We seek an experienced IT Infrastructure Architect with expertise in Mainframe, Cloud Hosting (VMware Stack), Storage, and Autosys to oversee the enterprise IT infrastructure’s design, implementation, and operations. This onsite, contract-to-hire (C2H) role requires a deep understanding of architecture, operations, security, and compliance across diverse technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage Mainframe, Cloud Hosting (VMware Stack), and Storage solutions.
Oversee Autosys job scheduling and automation to optimize system workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
Work on audit and regulatory compliance to meet industry standards.
Implement and manage Information Security Management protocols and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues related to Cisco, HP, Broadcom, Checkpoint, and VMware technologies.
Monitor system performance, capacity planning, and disaster recovery strategies.
Provide technical leadership in enterprise architecture and IT operations.
Prepare documentation, reports, and recommendations for senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure Architecture & Operations.
Expertise in Mainframe (ZOS, TSO) and Cloud Hosting using VMware Stack.
Strong knowledge of Storage solutions, Autosys job scheduling, and IT Security management.
Hands-on experience with Cisco, HP, Broadcom, Checkpoint, and VMware technologies.
Experience working on audit, regulatory compliance, and information security.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for documentation and reporting.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Have:
Knowledge of Cloud Security, DevOps, or automation tools.
Experience with Hybrid Cloud or Multi-Cloud environments.
Familiarity with network security best practices and IT governance frameworks.
