Information Security Analyst – Telecommunications – 100% REMOTE
Daley And Associates is seeking a proactive Information Security Analyst with a prominent firm in the Telecommunications space. This role involves safeguarding data and systems. You will also be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating vulnerabilities within IT infrastructure while managing vulnerability assessment tools. This is a 100% remote role. NO C2C or 1099 contractors are eligible for this position.
This a 6+ month contract position that will pay $70-75/hr (W2) within a 40 hour work week.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform regular vulnerability assessments and prioritize risks within the network, systems, and applications.
Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security threats.
Maintain vulnerability management tools and documentation.
Demonstrate expertise in using vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus, Qualys, and Rapid7.
Develop and maintain a risk register to document and track identified vulnerabilities and associated risks.
Stay updated on cyber security threats and best practices.
Utilize tools like Microsoft Defender, Tenable. One/Tenable.io, and Nessus.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
3+ years in vulnerability management or cyber security.
Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001 security frameworks.
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+) preferred.
