Role:
As an IT security engineer, you play a key role in creating a cloud foundation and moved a large number of its applications to the cloud.
You will have the opportunity to further improve the security of the cloud platforms and support the DevOps teams in their secure development of advanced applications and technologies. Another role of the IT security engineer is to regularly assess the security of our solution providers.
The specific responsibilities of the IT security engineer include:
Improving the security fundamentals
Automating recurring manual work in IT security control activities and automating security requirements in our CI/CD pipelines
Supporting and coaching DevOps teams in their secure software development process a
Identifying current and emerging security technologies, trends, vulnerabilities, and threats, and playing an active part in managing risks
Requirements:
At least 2 years working in a security related domain with hands on development experience.
Understanding and familiarity with AWS / Azure
Working knowledge of different DevOps tools
Security certifications are good to have, although not mandatory
Language skills: English. Dutch is considered an Asset, although not essential
