IT SECURITY OFFICER

Key Responsibilities:

Information Security

– Develop, implement, and enforce information security policies aligned with ISO27001 standards, SOCII reports, and potential additional certifications.

– Continuously assess information security risks and deploy technical solutions to safeguard our customers and employees.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to detect, respond to, and mitigate security incidents, providing guidance and support throughout the incident response and recovery phases.

– Coordinate ongoing audits and maintain comprehensive documentation related to our overall information security posture.

Technical Implementation

– Deploy technical measures such as Zero Trust, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems.

– Identify and integrate emerging technologies to enhance information security capabilities.

Awareness and Training

– Conduct awareness programs on information security best practices.

– Train employees on the proper use of technical security tools.

Policy Development

– Contribute to the development and refinement of information security policies.

– Make recommendations for policy improvements and adjustments.

Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Informatics, or equivalent experience.

– Minimum three years of ICT experience, with a focus on security.

– Proficiency with cloud platforms and services (e.g., Microsoft 365, GCP, Cloudflare).

– Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity tools, technologies, and best practices.

– Thorough understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IPS/IDS, and Zero Trust principles.

– Familiarity with security frameworks, standards, and regulations such as ISO27001, GDPR, and SOC2.

Preferred Qualifications:

– Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, etc.

– Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
