Reporting to the Director of IT, the IT Systems Administrator will play a critical role in managing and maintaining the corporate IT infrastructure, including systems, networks, and endpoints, while primarily supporting employees and contractors across the Americas. The Systems Administrator will serve as the primary contact for IT operations in the region, excelling in both reactive support and proactive project management. This is a Minnesota based position which requires occasional on-site work (incumbent must be within commuting distance of our Maple Grove office).
Key responsibilities include:
Manage and maintain IT operations, including servers, networks, applications, and hardware like AV and security systems, to ensure reliable performance and robust security
Act as the primary IT contact, providing user support, troubleshooting issues, and minimizing disruptions across departments
Perform regular data backups and disaster recovery processes to protect data and ensure swift recovery from system failures
Oversee the computer lifecycle, including commissioning, decommissioning, and maintaining accurate inventory of hardware resources
Administer onboarding and offboarding, ensuring system access and compliance with security protocols in coordination with HR
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve escalated issues and manage IT integrations with partners and subsidiaries
Support IT projects and proof of concepts, contributing technical expertise and assisting with systems integration during mergers and acquisitions
Document troubleshooting and create user guides to maintain a knowledge base and provide clear IT instructions to users
Participate in on-call rotation, resolving critical IT issues promptly to maintain system availability and business continuity
