Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning a tasks, with a focus on both industrial and commercial settings.
Responsibilities
Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
Manage custodial duties in commercial spaces, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met.
Execute industrial cleaning procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards in work environments.
Support porter duties by managing waste disposal and ensuring common areas are tidy.
Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning assignments efficiently and effectively.
Experience
Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance of various surfaces.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards across all areas of responsibility.
EXTREMELY IMPORTATION!!! Must have reliable source of transportation. you would need to get back and forth the cargo area of the airport. Public transportation doesn’t have access to that portion of the airport.
