As aJr. Security Administrator, you will serve as a crucial point of contact for your assigned clients. In this role you will assist the Centralized Services Manager in the review, remediation, and progression of your clients’ security posture. In addition to that you will perform quarterly deep dive assessments, assist with building and improving procedures, and work with our vendors to achieve success for your clients. You will need to be outgoing, customer-service focused, and maintain professional skepticism while being well organized and extremely detail-oriented.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships – This is what Charles IT is all about!
Serve as one of our strong internal security specialists ready to assist your dedicated clients in their security efforts
Review, triage, and remediate SOC alerts which come in from our security stack
Assist in the remediations of vulnerabilities on endpoints and specific products within different SLOs depending on severity and contract
Assist in the timely and successful delivery of projects according to clients’ business needs and objectives
Clearly communicate the progress of initiatives within our ticketing system and in weekly team meetings.
Maintain client documentation
Incident Response (SWOT)
Vulnerability Remediation
SOC Alerts Triage
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the IT field
2+ Years of experience in the IT field preferred
Current security certification from a major organization required (Ex: ISC, Microsoft, CompTIA)
Proven work experience in a security/compliance focused role preferred
Proven ability to juggle multiple client needs and ability to multi-task and function independently
Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and work with key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
Enthusiastic and dedicated to the challenges of a growing company and client base
Excellent follow-through to see tasks through completion
Self-starter with the ability to perform independently with little or no supervision
Current, valid US driver’s license is required.
