Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, including surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention.
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Utilize CCTV systems for surveillance and to identify potential threats or incidents.
Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, applying first aid or CPR as necessary.
Enforce facility rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Conduct thorough inspections of premises to detect any unauthorized access or safety hazards.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required and provide detailed reports on incidents.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
Requirements
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and monitoring procedures.
Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must possess a valid security certificate or be willing to obtain one.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
