Job Overview:
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Junior Engineer with a strong understanding of network security and data security. The ideal candidate will assist in implementing, monitoring, and maintaining security controls to safeguard our clients’ infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Security:
Assist in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs.
Support in performing network traffic analysis to detect and mitigate threats.
Help enforce network segmentation, access controls, and secure network design principles.
Monitor and respond to network security incidents in coordination with senior engineers.
Data Security:
Support in implementing data loss prevention (DLP) strategies to protect sensitive information.
Assist in the deployment and management of encryption technologies and secure data storage solutions.
Monitor for data breaches and assist in incident response and forensic analysis.
Enforce compliance with data security policies and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
