FUNCTION – Responsible for vigilance in observing all areas of the property, particularly those designated as gaming or wagering, utilizing the Company’s surveillance resources and reporting all procedural infractions and criminal activity to the appropriate person/department.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducts video surveillance and related investigations into all casino related activities including slots, poker, cash and pari-mutuel operations
Must possess excellent observation skills
Performs surveillance duties as assigned.
Maintains familiarity with gaming law, regulations, Company policies and procedures.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Receives periodic on- the-job training as needed or required.
Diligently monitors all Company assets as well as employees for procedural violations.
Maintains up-to-date working knowledge of procedures and policies for all departments.
Enforces departmental procedures by observing and reporting any failure to comply with Company policy or internal controls.
Maintains up to the minute, detailed and accurate logs.
Other duties as assigned.

Maintains interpersonal working relationships among personnel and the public.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the position.
Maintains a professional relationship with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, Florida Gaming Control Commission, casino security and company’s executive management as required
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time
Computer knowledge; Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma
At least 1 year of surveillance and casino experience preferred
Must be able to obtain a gaming license from the DBPR. Employer will assist.
Investigative experience preferred
