Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Bouncer to join our security team at a lively venue. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons while ensuring compliance with venue policies. This role requires strong conflict management skills, the ability to assess situations quickly, and the capability to handle various security challenges effectively.
Duties
Monitor the entrance and exit points of the venue to ensure safety and compliance with age restrictions.
Conduct thorough checks of patrons entering the venue, including ID verification.
Manage crowd control during busy events, ensuring that all guests adhere to venue rules and regulations.
Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances, utilizing conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations.
Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and provide assistance during emergencies.
Maintain surveillance of the premises using CCTV systems to identify potential security threats.
Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations, ensuring the health and safety of patrons.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by monitoring for suspicious behavior and reporting any theft or misconduct.
Requirements
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV, is an asset.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
A background in military service or training is a plus but not mandatory.
