About the role
As a Senior Security Engineer at slice, you’ll contribute technically to advance the Cyber Security program at slice and help the company in making the application and the infrastructure secure as per the industry standards. You will anticipate and identify risks and share any issues with senior members of the team.

What you will do
Conduct security assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability management for our products.
Collaborate with product development teams to integrate security considerations into the design and deployment phases.
Support the establishment and maintenance of security requirements and standards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Provide guidance on secure coding practices, architecture reviews, and security testing methodologies.
Participate in security training and awareness programs, promoting security best practices among employees.
Stay updated on emerging security threats and trends, conducting research to evaluate their potential impact on our products.
Serve as a knowledgeable resource on product security, assisting in discussions with internal teams and stakeholders.
What you will need
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in product security or a related area.
Hands on working exp with Burpsuite, SQL Scanner, and other application security tools.
Good knowledge on OWASP top ten vulnerabilities.
Strong understanding of software security principles, including secure coding practices and secure design principles.
Familiarity with security testing tools and methodologies, such as static analysis,
dynamic
analysis, and penetration testing.
Basic knowledge of industry security standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
Strong communication skills
with the ability to work collaboratively in a
team environment
.
Security certifications such as Security+, CEH, or equivalent are a plus.
