Lead Security Guard Jobs in Catoosa, OK at Cherokee Nation Entertainment
Hard Rock Casino & Hotel Tulsa is seeking a Lead Security Guard to provide a visible security presence, responding to incidents, enforcing policies, and collaborating with other departments and law enforcement agencies. This position involves leading and guiding other security personnel, ensuring adequate coverage, and maintaining detailed incident reports.
NOTE : This position is considered safety-sensitive and is subject to pre-employment and random drug testing. Please note that a positive drug test result, including for marijuana, may result in a job offer being rescinded for applicants or termination of employment for current employees, even if they possess a valid medical marijuana license.
Respond to incidents and provide CPR and first aid as needed.
Prevent prohibited items from entering CNE premises.
Coordinate with other departments to provide security resources.
Deploy security personnel to ensure timely response to calls and adequate coverage.
Respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
Maintain working relationships with local law enforcement, fire, and safety departments.
Maintain detailed written reports of incidents, adhering to established policies and procedures.
Review, edit, and distribute reports completed by security personnel.
Assist in managing key access for employees and generate related reports.
Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with CNE age requirements and policies.
High School Diploma or GED.
3 years of security or law enforcement experience.
State of Oklahoma Council of Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET) armed security guard license (required).
Cherokee Nation Armed Security Officer license (required).
Working knowledge of firearms and defensive tactics.
Working knowledge of surveillance video systems and chain of evidence procedures.
Ability to pass CNE security-approved custody control and weapons training.
Ability to obtain and maintain required gaming licenses.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to work in a variety of settings, including climate-controlled offices, outdoor environments in all weather conditions, and casino floors (with exposure to second-hand smoke and noise).
Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
