Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our client’s team as aLevel 3 Security Officer.You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This is a full-time position with various shifts available.
Pay:$15/hr.
Duties:
– Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all individuals
– Monitor CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment to detect any suspicious activity
– Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, taking appropriate action as necessary
– Enforce access control procedures, verifying the identity of individuals entering the premises
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
– Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of any security-related incidents
– Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
Requirements:
– Valid CPR and First Aid certifications
– Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or security-related field preferred
– Proficient in operating CCTV cameras and other security equipment
– Strong observational skills with the ability to quickly identify potential security risks
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
– Ability to handle conflicts or difficult situations calmly and professionally
– Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and procedures
– Must have a valid Level III Commissioned Officer License issued by Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS)
– Must qualify annually and carry duty weapon(s).
– Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in proper escalation and de-escalation in the use of force, including deadly force, during training scenarios and real-world events.
– Must be able to pass required training and maintain annual certifications successfully.
