Job Description: Security Officer
Duties:
– Monitor and operate CCTV systems to ensure the safety and security of the premises
– Conduct regular patrols to prevent and detect any signs of unauthorized entry or suspicious activity
– Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, taking appropriate action as necessary
– Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and guests with inquiries or concerns
– Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities
Experience:
– Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred but not required
– Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and practices is a plus
– Strong observation skills with the ability to quickly assess situations and make sound decisions
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
– Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
