Job Title: Entry-Level Investigator
Job Summary:
We are seeking an Entry-Level Investigator to join our team. In this role, you will focus on conducting thorough investigations of various incidents. Your responsibilities will include gathering and documenting evidence, interviewing witnesses, and retrieving relevant reports or footage to create detailed and accurate investigative reports. This role offers an opportunity for training in surveillance, and candidates should be prepared to spend the majority of their time in the field, collecting and analyzing evidence.
Employment Type:
1099 Independent Contractor – This position is classified as an independent contractor role, not a W-2 employee position.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed investigations of incidents, ensuring all relevant evidence is documented and preserved.
Take photographs, measurements, and detailed notes of evidence and scenes.
Interview witnesses and gather pertinent information to support investigations.
Retrieve reports and surveillance footage to aid in the investigation process.
Compile comprehensive and accurate investigative reports.
Participate in surveillance training and apply skills in the field as needed.
Work independently and manage multiple cases in a dynamic, field-based environment.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in the field for extended periods.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to remain objective and unbiased while conducting investigations.
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in investigations or security is a plus, but not required.
Familiarity with surveillance equipment and reporting tools is beneficial.
Work Schedule:
Flexibility is required as the work schedule may vary. Investigations may take place during the day, but some assignments could occur at night or on weekends.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to travel and work outdoors in various conditions.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
