Job Summary
The Patrol Officer is responsible for maintaining safety and security at the resident gate where the gate is currently not functioning. This role involves monitoring the area from a stationary position in a vehicle, ensuring the safety and security of the premises. The ideal candidate will possess strong observation skills and a commitment to ensuring that only authorized individuals access the premises.
Duties
Sit in a designated vehicle at the resident gate to monitor the area, ensuring unauthorized individuals do not enter.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or individuals attempting to access the property.
Maintain a constant, active presence to deter criminal activity and ensure the security of the premises.
Respond to calls for assistance, such as access requests or disturbances, as directed.
Monitor the gate area for any safety hazards, reporting any issues to management.
Ensure that only authorized individuals gain access to the premises by verifying credentials or following protocols.
Provide periodic updates to management regarding any concerns or incidents.
Prepare detailed reports of daily observations and actions taken during the shift.
Maintain a professional and alert demeanor at all times while in the vehicle.
Respond to emergencies or security incidents if necessary, alerting authorities when needed.
Requirements
Previous experience in security or similar roles is preferred but not mandatory.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail while monitoring the area from the vehicle.
Strong communication skills to report incidents clearly and professionally.
Must have a reliable vehicle to use for the position.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
A background check will be conducted prior to employment.
