About the Role:
We are seeking a diligent and responsible Security Guard to join our team at a truck site. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety and security of truck drivers, site personnel, and valuable cargo while fostering a secure and professional environment.
Responsibilities
Monitor Access: Control and oversee entry and exit points, ensuring only authorized personnel and vehicles gain access.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a secure work environment.
Inspection: Conduct routine inspections of trucks, containers, and cargo to ensure compliance with security regulations and identify potential risks.
Report Writing: Maintain accurate and detailed incident reports, documenting security breaches, accidents, and other irregularities.
Customer Service: Provide professional assistance and directions to truck drivers, visitors, and site personnel.
Security Protocols: Adhere to established procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
Collaboration: Communicate effectively with fellow security staff, management, and law enforcement to address security concerns.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in security or a related field (preferred).
Strong observation and surveillance skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical fitness for patrol duties and emergency responses.
