Overview
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage/Access Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems, including CCTV, alarm systems, and computer networking solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cabling and field service operations, along with hands-on experience using both power and hand tools. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively detect issues and implement solutions in various environments.
Responsibilities
Install and configure low voltage systems, including CCTV cameras and alarm systems.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Utilize power tools and hand tools for installation and repair tasks.
Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and prepare necessary materials.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues to management.
Provide exceptional customer service during field service visits.
Skills
Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to low voltage installations.
Strong knowledge of cabling techniques, standards for low voltage systems & access control systems.
Experience with computer networking principles and practices.
Familiarity with CCTV installation and maintenance processes.
Ability to detect technical issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
Previous experience in field service roles is highly desirable.
Knowledge of alarm system sales is a plus.

Pay: $22.50 – $25.00 per hour
