Job Overview
As an Armed Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security at various locations. Your primary responsibility will be to protect property, personnel, and assets while ensuring compliance with all security protocols. This position requires a vigilant and proactive approach to identifying potential threats and responding effectively to incidents.
Duties
Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure the safety of the premises.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
Enforce rules and regulations as established by the organization while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Provide loss prevention services by identifying theft or damage and reporting incidents accordingly.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing detailed reports on incidents as required.
Manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Skills
Proficient in first aid and CPR, with certification preferred.
Background in law enforcement or military experience is required.
Excellent conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively.
Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operations.
Ability to maintain composure under pressure while making quick decisions.
Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security risks.
Effective communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately.
