About the job
This role is directly to support Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), by conducting data analytics exercises, analyse data, and conducting specialized research/studies – which these activities are integral to planning, assessing service quality, benchmarking cybersecurity practices, and measuring operational performance and effectiveness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and gather relevant business, technical, and operational data from various sources within the TM organization, within the purview of Group Information Security (GIS).
Drive the extraction, collection, organization, curation, and analysis of data to support GIS decision-making and fulfil GIS reporting and communication requirements. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
Develop and execute data analytics strategies that align with GIS and TM’s business objectives.
Lead process improvement initiatives for GIS, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Implement and monitor project progress to ensure timely completion within budget.
Conduct quality review checks on data deliverables from GIS stakeholders, analyse operational reports, and collaborate with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and provide insights on trends.
Conduct research and generate regular reports and presentations on cybersecurity industry benchmarks, standards, trends, and best practices to stay informed about the latest developments.
Implement process automation and digitization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Monitor process changes and evaluate their impact on operational effectiveness.
Plan, implement, and ensure compliance with quality standards (ISMS) across the division.
MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, Cybersecurity or equivalent field of study.
Professional certification in Data Analytic, Engineering or related to job scope will be an added advantage.
