We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team at one of our pharmaceutical warehouses. The hours of operation there are 24/7. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. The Security Officers duties include patrolling, monitoring and maintaining access control, verifying deliveries, responding to alarms, hourly patrols/perimeter checks, sign in with checklist for guest, scanning employees badges and performing bag checks, and more all while maintaining safety.
***Duties include but not limited to***
Patrolling and Surveillance:
Patrols: Regular inside and outside checks for suspicious activity or hazards.
Surveillance: Monitoring CCTV and security systems for potential threats.
Perimeter Security: Ensuring fences, gates, and access points are secure.
Access Control:
Entry/Exit Monitoring: Controlling access to ensure only authorized personnel and vehicles enter.
Verification: Checking IDs and permits of visitors and employees.
Visitor Logs: Keeping accurate records of visitor information.
Incident Response:
Alarm Response: Investigating and addressing alarm triggers.
Breach Investigation: Investigating security issues and reporting to authorities.
Order Maintenance: Managing disturbances and ensuring safety during emergencies.
Emergency Response: Assisting with evacuations and emergency procedures.
Asset Protection:
Inventory Checks: Verifying goods are accounted for and free from discrepancies.
Loading/Unloading Monitoring: Overseeing shipments to prevent theft or damage.
Theft Prevention: Implementing security measures to reduce theft risks.

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
