Job Summary:

The Manager, Quality Control Information Systems is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining digital platforms and systems that support quality activities. This role ensures the effective collection, analysis, and reporting of quality data, enabling informed decision-making and continuous improvement. The position also oversees the integration of digital tools into quality processes, ensuring alignment with KSIA’s organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy and Objectives:

Develop, implement, and maintain a digital Quality Control Information System (QCIS) strategy, aligned with corporate objectives.

Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of quality management software and digital tools.

Ensure systems support quality data capture, reporting, and analytics across all project phases.

Integrate digital tools with other organizational systems, such as ERP, document management, and BIM platforms.

Maintain data integrity and compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.

Collaborate with IT and Quality teams to resolve system-related issues and enhance functionality.

Align quality control information systems with strategic goals, emphasizing automation and efficiency.

Establish KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of digital quality management systems.

Drive innovation in quality control through emerging technologies, including AI, IoT, and data analytics.

Organization, Resources, and Monitoring:

Build and manage a team of quality systems specialists and data analysts.

Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring uptime and reliability.

Provide training and support to ensure effective use of quality control systems by all stakeholders.

Operational

Oversee system configuration, updates, and customizations to meet project-specific requirements.

Ensure proper documentation and version control for quality system workflows and processes.

Develop dashboards and reporting tools to monitor quality performance and identify trends.

Manage data governance processes to ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

Certifications in quality management systems (e.g., CQI, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) or IT systems (e.g., ITIL, PMP) preferred.

Minimum of 6 years of experience in digital systems management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered, where advanced degrees or specialized certifications can substitute for a portion of the required professional experience.

Proven track record of implementing and managing digital quality systems in large-scale construction or development projects.

Strong knowledge of quality management principles, data analytics, and IT systems integration.

Prior experience with startup of new programs and organizations.
