Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and potential threats are identified and addressed promptly.
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, assessing the situation and taking appropriate action.
Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure safety and security standards are met.
Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV to monitor premises and maintain detailed logs of activities.
Enforce rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all personnel on-site.
Provide assistance in conflict management situations, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, providing necessary information for investigations.
Maintain clear communication with team members and report any incidents or breaches of security.
Requirements
Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred.
Strong skills in conflict management and loss prevention techniques.
Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Must possess a valid security guard certificate or equivalent training credentials.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
