Job Summary
Provides supervision and
leadership
of the day-to-day operation of the security program and assure the quality of the daily work of Security personnel. Establishes a safe and secure environment for Sanford facilities utilizing internal security services through the use of established policies, guidelines and protocols. Performs job functions of Security Officers as needed. Maintain good working relationships with local law enforcement officers.
Qualifications Two years vocational or college training courses in criminal justice or equivalent experience in the security industry preferred or three years experience in the security industry with demonstrated supervisory/
leadership
skills. May require a current valid driver’s license with Sanford Insurability dependent upon region. Supervisor certification by International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety required within one year of hire.
