Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Flex Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security at various locations. This position requires adaptability, as the Flex Officer will be assigned to different sites based on operational needs. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to protecting property and ensuring the safety of individuals.
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Utilize CCTV and surveillance equipment to observe and report any incidents or irregularities.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as necessary.
Conduct thorough inspections of premises, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
Manage conflicts effectively, using de-escalation techniques when necessary.
Collaborate with law enforcement when required, providing detailed reports of incidents.
Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Qualifications
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and surveillance systems (CCTV).
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Military experience is a plus but not mandatory.
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
