Job summary:

To oversee and enhance the daily security operations of the company, managing the Security Control Room and Security Guard & Response Force to ensure the safety of all assets and personnel. This role is pivotal in maintaining high security standards, ensuring rapid incident response, and upholding rigorous safety protocols across all organizational facilities.

General Responsibilities:

Strategic and Planning

Implement the divisional strategy in line with business vision, mission, and corporate objectives in compliance with group delegation of authority policy.

Ensure that the overall business strategy is translated into annual operational business plans and the performance is monitored to ensure business plans are in line with the overall strategy.

Policy, Procedures, Process and Systems

Implement divisional policy, systems, processes, procedures and controls covering all functional areas in line with group delegation of authority policy to ensure fulfilment of all relevant procedural/legislative requirements while delivering quality and cost-effective service in a consistent manner.

Reporting

Ensure all divisional reports are completed timely and comply with business policies and standards.

Manage the preparation of periodical management reports and progress reports to keep the senior management informed about the progress of various initiatives and to facilitate decision-making.

Comply with organization’s requirements in a timely manner.

Job Specific Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee daily security operations, ensuring all security measures and personnel are effectively protecting company facilities and assets against unauthorized access, theft, and other security threats.

Direct the deployment and activities of the security guard force, ensuring proper training, adherence to security protocols, and high performance in protecting company premises.

Develop and implement emergency response procedures for security incidents, ensuring rapid and effective response capabilities. Coordinate closely with the central security control room to manage real-time security events.

Lead investigations into security breaches and other incidents, coordinating with law enforcement and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and mitigate future risks.

Implement ongoing training programs for security personnel to enhance their skills and ensure compliance with the latest security practices and company policies.

Serve as the primary contact for local and national law enforcement agencies, fostering strong relationships to enhance coordinated security efforts and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Implement advanced surveillance tactics that utilize AI and machine learning to predict potential security breaches and optimize guard responses.

Develop community outreach programs to enhance local community relations and support proactive security measures, helping to build a mutually beneficial relationship with the local community and stakeholders.

Establish and maintain security performance metrics. Regularly report these metrics to upper management to inform on the effectiveness of security operations and identify areas for improvement.
