Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant “casual” Security Guard to join our team. We will roughly be able to provide a maximum of 30 hours per week. Schedule is based on pop up jobs or open available shifts. Would be best suited for someone with a flexible schedule.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.
Duties included but not limited to:
Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
Enforce rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all individuals on-site.
Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations.
Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds to identify security risks or breaches.
Provide first aid assistance when necessary and maintain knowledge of CPR protocols.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
Document daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences in detailed reports.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by monitoring for theft or suspicious behavior.
Experience
Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with surveillance equipment and security systems is an advantage.
Skills in conflict management are essential for effectively handling disputes.
Requirements
Must pass a criminal background check upon hire
Must pass a standardized drug screening upon hire
