Duties:
– Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems in residential and commercial buildings- Perform field service visits to troubleshoot and resolve issues with low voltage systems- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper installation of low voltage wiring and equipment- Conduct inspections of low voltage systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout and configuration of low voltage systems- Build and assemble components of low voltage systems according to specifications- Test and detect faults in low voltage systems using specialized equipment- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles related to low voltage systems- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings- Familiarity with CAD software for designing low voltage systems is a plus- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenPlease note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required for this role.
