About The TeamThe Mobile Security team is part of the Information Security area. The team focuses on proactive hunting for and mitigating potential security threats on Nubank apps to protect our customers’ financial assets and data. For that, we perform many tasks such as embedding and developing security controls on the apps, supporting mobile engineers during the software development lifecycle and ethical hacking tests focused on the apps.
About The RoleThis role manages a multidisciplinary mobile engineering team with an offensive security focus. The team maintains and improves the security of Nubank’s Android and iOS mobile apps, directly protecting over a hundred million users. The manager will provide global support, protecting the app against attacks worldwide and collaborating with international stakeholders, while also supporting fraud investigations and mobile architecture design.
Must Have
High-performing team management skills.
Mobile software development experience.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to interact with stakeholders globally.
English proficiency.
Nice to Have
Knowledge of mobile security best practices.
Previous experience with security or fraud teams.
Previous experience in the finance industry.
Ability to present ideas to large audiences.
Proficiency in Spanish.
