Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.
Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment.
Utilize CCTV systems for surveillance and monitoring activities.
Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks.
Manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques.
Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required.
Qualifications
Previous experience in law enforcement or security preferred.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques.
Knowledge of loss prevention strategies is a plus.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Military experience or relevant security certifications are advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must be physically fit to perform duties that may require standing or walking for extended periods.
