Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Patrol Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment through proactive monitoring and enforcement of policy’s. This role requires strong observational skills, effective communication, and the ability to respond to various situations with professionalism and authority.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect undesired activity or violations of rules.
Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to identify suspicious behavior or incidents.
Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Engage with tenants and visitors to provide assistance, answer questions, and build rapport.
Document incidents accurately in reports for further investigation or action.
Enforce policy’s while maintaining a calm demeanor during conflicts.
Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for investigations or incidents.
Participate in ongoing training related to loss prevention, conflict management, and surveillance techniques.
Requirements
Previous experience in security is preferred but not mandatory.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and techniques is a plus.
Proficient in the use of surveillance equipment including CCTV systems.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail and the ability to report findings clearly.
Must be physically fit to perform duties that may include walking and standing for long periods and responding quickly to emergencies.
