NATIONAL SECURITY LEGISLATIVE CORRESPONDENT Jobs in Washington, DC at United States Senate

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) is seeking a National Security Legislative Correspondent (LC) to join his DC office’s national security team. The LC’s responsibilities would include research, writing, managing relevant constituent correspondence, legislative drafting, policy development, and representing the Senator in meetings with constituents and other stakeholders. Candidates should excel in a team setting and possess strong time management, organizational, analytical, communication, and multi-tasking skills. The LC will work closely with and be mentored by experienced Legislative Assistants and the National Security Advisor, and this position offers promotion opportunities within the Senator’s policy team. The most qualified candidates will have prior national security policy experience.
