Job Description: Network Engineer
Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Network Engineer to oversee and optimize our network infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing network configurations, enforcing security policies, and ensuring system reliability while driving continuous improvement in collaboration with vendors and team members
Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain firewalls, proxy servers, mail gateways, VPN, and IPSE.
Configure and optimize network devices, manage change requests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
Regularly review and update firewall rules, enforce organizational security standards, and conduct bi-annual risk assessments to ensure compliance.
Perform monthly vulnerability assessments, identify and address gaps, and implement effective remediation plans to enhance system security.
Maintain accurate Configuration Management Database (CMDB) entries and up-to-date network diagram.
Improve system efficiency through ongoing professional development and collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues effective.
Qualifications and Skill
Hands-on experience with security devices such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Huawei, Cisco, Umbrella, and F5.
Strong knowledge of firewalls, proxy, mail gateways, VPN, and IPSE.
Experience in network security operations and threat mitigation.
Strong problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and excellent communication abilities.
Prior experience in Banking/Finance, SI Company, or IT Services is highly preferred.
