Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, ensuring the safety of personnel and property, and responding to any incidents or emergencies that may arise. This role requires a strong sense of duty, excellent observational skills, and the ability to manage conflicts effectively.
Responsibilities
Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to identify potential security threats.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.
Conduct thorough inspections of premises and report any security breaches or hazards.
Enforce company policies and procedures regarding security protocols.
Provide assistance in conflict management situations, ensuring the safety of all individuals involved.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on security practices and protocols.
Qualifications
Proven experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and conflict management strategies.
Familiarity with surveillance systems and CCTV operations.
Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff and the public.
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
Must possess a valid armed security officer license as required by state regulations.
