Summary Statement:The Security Officer will take pride in serving as a brand ambassador. This role may patrol, stand a static post, respond to potential emergency situations, medical incidents, disturbances, or requests for assistance. This role will ensure the safety and experience of guests, team members and vendors while providing a world-renowned customer service.

Everyone works in EVS – If there is trash on the floor, it is your responsibility to pick it up. If it is a mess that needs more attention, it is your responsibility to notify the appropriate department or individual.

Everyone works in Guest Experience – If a guest needs assistance, it is your responsibility to assist that guest and do so with a smile. If the guest needs more assistance than you can provide, it is your responsibility to notify the appropriate department or individual.

Primary Job Duties:

– Includes, but is not limited to:

Understand the importance of service in a world class resort while maintaining the awareness of safety & security.

Follow company brand standards for Guest Service.

Act as a first responder during emergency situations, medical incidents, disturbances or requests for assistance.

Drive/operate company vehicles as required.

Perform basic first aid, CPR or AED application.

Successfully complete an annual physical agility test.

Maintain a working knowledge of the facility and special events on property, and other venues in order to advise guests and fellow employees of same, whenever possible.

Assist with drops and fills on the casino floor.

Interact with guests and team members in a positive, professional manner.

Gather pertinent information regarding security related incidents involving guests, employees and/or the facility.

Prepare and present voluntary statements and incident reports.

Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.

Use personal device/cellular phone for job related tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
